  1. Oh well, Khari was good while it lasted, too bad he got to die 🙂

    1. It’s said that a lot of creators enjoy making their characters suffer 😀

  2. I fancy this was a mistake on your part, Red.
    Gloating before a live foe.

    1. It’s the sort of mistake you really only get to make a few times before it backfires in your face.

  3. …I’m getting Handbook flashbacks right now. We’re just missing Claire’s writeup.

    1. I touched on it back here:

I think that a bit of sass is warranted now and again. It makes punching the bad guys in the face much more rewarding.

      1. The line between banter and monologue is dangerously thin.

    2. Sadly I do not have her talent for it, but I will try to write more!

  4. Hmmm, a sapphire gem for Khari vs a Ruby for Rune in the prophecy… Foreshadowing for more ‘non-evil’ gems? Is the party all gonna have (or already have) their own gems, like how Jett has a topaz?

    1. Sort of! The gems represent the different kinds of magic in the world, and the red ones started turning people into the Ruby Hivemind. In the setting stuff for 5e I’m putting together, that’s Enchantment. Khari and Saberic both use the same type of magic, so they’d both be represented with light blue gems. Eira’s would be a violet color, Jett’s people are essentially implanted with them to form a consciousness in the first place (So all Ravari will have a yellow gem embedded somewhere), and Pen is… not a magician. >_>

  5. Whoever wrote/drew the prophecy is horny for Rune (or Pensy? Hard to tell the difference). She’s naked!

    1. That’s Rune alright, but it’s equal opportunity nudity! Saberic is naked there too XD
