Saberic, dude, my man, you are the protagonist, so you got no choice, take the main quest 😛
At least Khari is trying to help and he is right, the infection will spread. He even is offering to do the hard part. For a bard Saberic isn’t helping the party morale 😛
Thank you! I’m really enjoying finally getting to tell this story! And noted on the font–I’m not super happy with how it’s working readability wise, so I was thinking of changing it before it got too cumbersome to do all the backlog, and I think you’ve just pushed me to get on that.
It’s like he’s resigned to disaster no matter the means taken to prevent it. Almost anticipating it, even. Bad city and panicking mobs, not listening to me. A sticky end for you.
I’m having great fun looking at the difference between my draft script and the actual results. I’d originally called for Panel 2 to be “Wider shot of the refugee camp. They stand among the mass of people.” That winds up getting translated to the symbolic hands reaching over a red background. Where in the process do you make that decision?
Ah, that one got changed during the edits I made to the script–I figured it didn’t make sense to have the riot at the gate stop so suddenly, so these two are walking a little bit away from it to have their discussion *not* in the middle of all the chaos.

Yeah, dude. You wanted help?
You got it. Now direct it.

At least Khari is doing well on the ‘not letting him get away with this bullshit’ meter.

Reluctant heroes have a rough go of it! Good thing Khari is gonna run full steam ahead at problems in contrast.

Hi Laurel! I’m a fan from the HOH and followed through to see this new comic. Loving it so far and can’t wait to learn more about the world!
Small bit of feedback, I’m finding the font a bit hard to read. Not sure if I’m the only one struggling.

He’s speaking from experience, but unfortunately that’s made him very pessimistic about the whole situation.
