Man, those Door Mages took AGES to show up after the Gyre was set on fire, especially for a City Guard who specialize in teleportation magic. That said, it looks like Chinara might not get to have as much fun as she'd hoped, and the party might live to see another day!
Hopefully, that day won't be in prison, for their obvious trespassing.

They may specialize in teleportation but they are guards anyway, their job is to come late 🙂

The guards’ job is not to rush in, but to secure access routes before they MOVE in. Everything steady and organized, rather than rushed.
